The New Jersey Shoreshots basketball organization has won the NJ State AAU titles in both the U12 and U13 Divisions. The U12 team coached by Tracey Sabino, Pat Sabino, Lauralee Lucey and Mike Pero has won this title two years in a row.

The U13 team also coached by Tracey Sabino defeated the Jersey Shore Elite Wildcats in the NJ State Final game. The U13 Team consists of girls from Manalapan, Wall, Secaucus, Howell, Manasquan and South Brunswick: Sam Sabino, Alex Barazotti, Christina Tricarico, Lauren Vostal, Paige Zirrith, Julia McClure, Andy Lennon and Janae Mayfield.

The U13 team will attend the 2011 AAU Junior Nationals in Washington DC this summer. The team has participated in several AAU tournaments in the tri-state area and also attended the 2011 Boo Williams College Showcase tournament in Virginia reaching the Final Four in the U13 Division.

The U12 team defeated the Gym Ratz from North Jersey in the NJ State Championship game. The U12 team consists of girls from Spring Lake, Secaucus, Howell, Millstone, Manalapan and Wall: Sydney Sabino, Nicole Morris, Lindsey Morris, Kristina Ulrich, Colleen Burns, Zoe Pero, Amanda Hunt, Kelly Campbell, Gillian Black, Gabrielle Caponegro, Tina Lebron and Brittany Lucey.

The girls will participate in the Nationals in Clarksville, Tennessee in July. The team is currently preparing for the Nationals by participating in AAU tournaments and Super Regional events in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
